Why is your Youtube Content Failing?

In today’s video, I discuss content creation and visibility on Youtube. Specifically, how one of my recent videos flopped terrifically, and how I plan to learn from that failure.

Original video here: Linkstravaganza - A great idea, dressed for failure.

Basically, it comes down to Three Key Factors:

1 - Length (The Cake)

2 - Thumbnail (The Icing)

3 - Name / Meta Data / Keywords (The Advertising)

In the Linkstravaganza video, I made nearly 30 links available and walked through each site, one… by… one…

Even writing it down right now, it reads like a bad idea, but, as I am finding with this entire Youtuber journey, failure is the name of the game. Let me say that again so it sinks in for the both of us. Failure is the name of the game.

Resistance is futile.

It’s what we do about that failure that will define our success on Youtube.

I realize the only real course of action left to me (if I really want to make a go of this author platform thing) is to repackage and re-upload the information as a multi-part series, dispensing the information in bite-sized chunks of 5-10 links. Which, in retrospect, is closer to 3-6 videos worth of content that I crammed into 1 twenty-four minute slog.
